Not a U.S. Mint dealer. American Wealth Group is an independent, private-sector precious metals dealer. This page is not sponsored, endorsed, or approved by the U.S. Mint or the U.S. Department of the Treasury — no dealer holds that status. Coin photography throughout this page is official U.S. Mint product photography, a work of the federal government in the public domain.
A note on IRA eligibility. The American Eagle and Buffalo coins above are named directly in the tax code's list of IRA-eligible coins. The collector and limited-mintage coins qualify a different way — as gold or silver bullion meeting the required fineness (26 U.S.C. §408(m)(3)(B)) — which is how custodians and dealers across the industry treat them, but isn't quite the same thing. Confirm eligibility with your IRA custodian before you buy.

Before you choose

The details deserve a conversation.

A coin's appearance is only part of the decision. Ask for the product, price, and account details in writing.
